      Montara Hospitality Group’s Award-Winning Restaurants PRU and JAMPA Retain Their Michelin Stars in The MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2025

      9th December 2024 – Montara Hospitality Group’s PRU, the first and only Michelin recognised restaurant in Phuket, and the sustainable cuisine JAMPA, are pleased to announce the retention of their accolades in the latest release of The MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2025 edition.

      Embracing the group ethos of “Dine Good Do Good,” PRU has consistently maintained a prestigious One MICHELIN Star since 2019 and earned a MICHELIN Green Star since 2021. JAMPA, honored with the MICHELIN Green Star in its inaugural year of operation, has upheld this distinction for four consecutive years, showcasing an enduring commitment to sustainability. With the release of the 2025 ratings, PRU and JAMPA reaffirm their dedication to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to their patrons in the vibrant gastronomic landscape of Thailand.

      Under the leadership of Executive Chef Jimmy Ophorst, PRU has set a benchmark for sustainable fine dining in Thailand, featuring menus that exalt exceptional ingredients sourced from Phuket and across Thailand. With the 2025 revelation PRU stands as the only restaurant outside of Thailand’s capital with a Michelin Star and Green Star, Chef Jimmy Ophorst, also the Co-Owner of PRU, expressed, “This recognition is more than an accolade; it underscores our unwavering dedication to sustainable gastronomy and our mission to showcase the essence of Thailand through each dish.”

      PRU’s open theater kitchen not only offers diners a firsthand view of the culinary artistry at work, allowing them to witness the transformation of rare Thai ingredients like fragrant peppercorns and hard-to-harvest ta-ko into exquisite dishes that captivate the senses but also provides an immersive dining experience accentuated by a dedicated staff, stunning vistas, and innovative utilization of Thai flavours. This combination results in a dining journey that transcends borders, attracting guests from around the world to savour the very best that Thailand offers. Moreover, PRU’s commitment to sustainability and community involvement is evident in the incorporation of locally crafted artisanal products such as lounge chairs, tiles, crockery, and cutlery. By championing these creations, PRU reinforces its ethos of sustainability and local support by introducing a community-to-fork experience.

      By retaining the prestigious MICHELIN Green Star, JAMPA underscores its steadfast commitment to sustainability. Chef Rick Dingen, proud of his culinary ethos, expressed, “The MICHELIN Green Star symbolizes our dedication to champion sustainability and innovation in each culinary creation. This recognition validates our mission to craft zero-waste, farm-to-table cuisine that also respects our planet.”

      Nestled within Phuket’s newest wellness community Tri Vananda, JAMPA embraces a farm-to-table philosophy, utilizing live fire cooking techniques to artfully transform locally sourced ingredients from their own farm and local farmers into wholesome and well-balanced dishes. Led by Chef Rick, the team at JAMPA diligently minimizes their environmental impact by adopting a zero-waste approach with a zero-carbon footprint. Enhancing the experience, the restaurant offers a unique Saturday event, HiDEAWAY by JAMPA, where guests can partake in a farm tour and relish a seasonal sharing-style menu served at an elegant al fresco table.

      十多年前,Kittisak的父親開發建設了布吉島的Trisara度假村,如今已經成為島上最著名的酒店之一,坐擁2000米私人海岸線。Trisara內的餐廳PRU是泰國曼谷以外唯一一間米芝蓮星級餐廳,而另一餐廳JAMPA則是全球296間米芝蓮綠星餐廳之一,米芝蓮綠星旨在每年表揚可持續實踐表現出色的團隊。除了飲食以外,Trisara亦充分利用自然資源,為住客提供健康體驗,例如在百年榕樹旁的Jara SPA中放鬆身體,吸收靈氣,或者在海風微拂的沙灘上練習泰拳打靶。「我們的海灘是布吉為數不多會有海龜回來下蛋的。」
      「健康相關的旅遊產品上,泰國表現出色。」香港電訊數碼投資業務首席增長總監楊佩娟表示,今年第一季度,泰國旅遊產品的預訂數量佔旗下數碼旅遊預訂平台Club Travel的旅遊業務約兩成。
      早在Tri Vananda項目之前,集團已經在Trisara「試水」了健康房地產業務。「顧客很享受在此處的生活方式,跟我們的員工成了朋友,有些甚至把配備的管家和廚師當成自己的家人。」Kittisak介紹,Trisara有30%的回頭客,「這就是我們能賣出許多別墅的原因。」Trisara建有30間私人別墅,旗艦的兩臥室戶型建築面積為590平方米,配備18米無邊私人泳池。別墅業主及其親屬可以折扣價格享受相鄰度假村的水療和飲食,別墅可交由酒店團隊維護出租並獲得租金分成。

      PHUKET, THAILAND: Wellness tourism is in great shape. One of the fastest growing areas of the tourism industry, the sector has grown from a niche market for committed health seekers to become a THB 219 trillion (USD 6.3 trillion) global powerhouse.
